Dancing in the Rain: official launch

The official launch of Chris Moran’s poetry collection, Dancing in the Rain, was a fantastic occasion hosted by the wonderful published poet, James Nash.  Dancing in the Rain is available in paperback and for Kindle from Amazon.com and Amazon UK. All profits go to the MS Trust.

Surrounded by friends, family and admirers of her poetry, Chris and friend and fellow poet, Glenda Brown, read selected poems, James also selected two of his favourites to read and then Chris took questions from the audience.

The readings were brilliant (don’t miss Glenda Brown reading her choices – just wonderful) and the discussion afterwards offers a great insight into Chris’s working methods as a poet and the inspiration behind her work. (See the YouTube video below.)

Sweet success - Diane Denton's beautiful artwork used on the cover of Chris's book was skilfully reproduced on these very special cupcakes created for the official launch.

  1. It’s great to see this happy launch event, and I’ve watched the video with keen interest. Congratulations to Chris! It is also very nice to see her warm tributes to Deborah Bennison at Bennison Books – tributes with which I unreservedly concur.
